Twenty-four hours finished! We come across the line in 18th position out of 41 teams. Considering the tone of these live updates, 18th is a great finish!
The 6ish man team played the cards we were dealt perfectly, and ended up beating 27 other teams despit two (deserved) black flags and a 14-min maintenance stop.
Huge congratulations to Nameless Motorsport for the 1-2, and Cor Blimey Racing for rounding out the podium. The whole event was great to watch, in person and online. Thanks to the Senor Frogs for allowing the event to be streamed with such high quality production. Silverstone is definitely leading the way for endurance karting in the UK and we will certainly be back.

Our kart has been fixed and the rain has dried up. We're doing our final stints now and have set our fastest lap so far with a 1:15.315.
Zain is currently out, with Adam to go out and take the finish line. With some luck we could still push for 15th. Impressive considering the 14 min maintenance stop.

Now I've been out in it, I can confirm the kart pre-maintenance was the worst kart TYR has ever been burdened with driving.
Good news is, the mechanics have fixed it, bad news is it took them 14 minutes. We have dropped down to at least 20th.

Zain could unfortunately only complete half a stint, after receiving a black flag and making a tactical change.
James is out at the moment to confirm the kart belongs in the scrap metal bin, and not on a kart track.

George has just finished his diabolical double stint of death in the rain with no wetsuit - swapping karts halfway through.
Adam is out in our new number 42. It's definitely slow in a straight line but hopefully it will bed in and be up-to-speed soon. Mechanics have confirmed we can't swap back for our old kart if we wanted to.

At the first scheduled (unscheduled) maintenance window, the mechanics spotted an issue with our kart, requiring an immediate kart swap.
We are back out again in kart 42 which seems down on power in comparison. George has had to go out to do a double stint as it was not during our expected pit window.

We will be kart number 5 for the race. This completes the trio of 555, 55, and now 5 as our race numbers this year.
The kart finished 2nd at the 8H last month, hopefully it has maintained it's pace since then.

The team will be calling on their 37x 24Hs completed between them to put on a show at the first Kart Silverstone 24H.
